This great little timepiece came in for a full service.
At first it seemed fine however the balance staff was a little bent, so this needed replacing. Luckily, I could get hold of another one.
I also replaced the mainspring with one of appropriate size.
Being circa 1941, I was expecting a lot more wear and tear. There was a little on one of the wheels, however the watch is working fabulously. Such a pleasure to work on something of outstanding quality.
All done and looking great.
A closer look.
All done!
